Join us during our STEP sessions at the San Luis Library
Begining Wednesdeay March 6th from 5pm-6:30pm start learning about our program “STEPS to Understand Your Physical and Emotional Health” project aims to uncover influential factors in managing chronic diseases by analyzing the physical and emotional aspects as separate entities that collectively impact the process. Over the course of 7 STEPS sessions, patients will enhance their ability to identify existing resources and areas for improvement, ultimately leading to better treatment outcomes.
Moreover, the project facilitates patient access to additional treatment resources by providing referrals within Sunset Health departments like Behavioral Health, Eligibility, IM, or Peds, as well as through community resources. The STEPS project addresses the needs of patients with chronic illnesses, offering a tool to aid in navigating their treatment journey effectively. The workshop comprises 7 biweekly sessions, each lasting around 2 hours.

- Most people who have had close contact (within 6 feet for a total of 15 minutes or more over a 24-hour period) with someone with confirmed COVID-19.
- Fully vaccinated people with no COVID-19 symptoms do not need to be tested following an exposure to someone with COVID-19.
- People who have tested positive for COVID-19 within the past 3 months and recovered do not need to get tested following an exposure as long as they do not develop new symptoms.

CDC recommends that anyone with any signs or symptoms of COVID-19 get tested, regardless of vaccination status or prior infection.
