Health Insurance Marketplace
Get the coverage you need to keep you and your family healthy
The Marketplace Open Enrollment period at HealthCare.gov is open. People who lack health insurance or are already in a Marketplace plan can now submit or update their application. Consumers may even qualify for financial help paying their health insurance premiums.
The Inflation Reduction Act
There is a new law, the Inflation Reduction Act, that extends enhanced financial help to purchase health coverage through HealthCare.gov. Extending this help means that many consumers will continue to save money on their premiums. 4 out of 5 customers will be able to find plans for $10 or less per month after newly expanded financial assistance.
4 things to know about open enrollment:

- Key Dates: The Marketplace Open Enrollment at HealthCare.gov runs from November 1, 2023 to January 15, 2024. Consumers must enroll by January 15 in order to have coverage that starts on February 1. Otherwise, consumers will need to qualify for a Special Enrollment Period to enroll in a 2024 Marketplace plan.
- Coverage is Affordable: This year, thanks to the Inflation Reduction Act, more people qualify for help purchasing quality health coverage. If you have looked for health coverage before, it is worth a second look.
