People who lack health insurance or are already in a Marketplace plan can now submit or update their application. Consumers may even qualify for financial help paying their health insurance premiums.<\/p>\n<h2>The Inflation Reduction Act<\/h2>\n<p>There is a new law, the Inflation Reduction Act, that extends enhanced financial help to purchase health coverage through <a href=\"https:\/\/www.healthcare.gov\/\">HealthCare.gov<\/a>.\u00a0Extending this help means that many consumers will continue to save money on their premiums.\u00a04 out of 5 customers will be able to find plans for $10 or less per month after newly expanded financial assistance.<\/p>\n<h2>4 things to know about open enrollment:<\/h2>\n<p>Symptoms of flu can include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Key Dates:<\/strong> The Marketplace Open Enrollment at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.healthcare.gov\/\">HealthCare.gov<\/a> runs from November 1, 2023 to January 15, 2024. Consumers must enroll by January 15 in order to have coverage that starts on February 1. Otherwise, consumers will need to qualify for a Special Enrollment Period to enroll in a 2024 Marketplace plan.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Coverage is Affordable:<\/strong>\u00a0This year, thanks to the Inflation Reduction Act, more people qualify for help purchasing quality health coverage. If you have looked for health coverage before, it is worth a second look.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Quality Plans:<\/strong>\u00a0These are quality, comprehensive health plans that offer doctor visits, emergency care, behavioral health care, preventive care, hospital care, and prescription drugs. There are also new plan options that offer similar benefit designs and more predeductible services.<\/li>\n<li><strong>More Help is Available:<\/strong> Consumers can access assisters and navigators in every state on the Marketplace. To find local help go to <a href=\"https:\/\/localhelp.healthcare.gov\/\">https:\/\/localhelp.healthcare.gov<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Take the next step<\/h2>\n<p>All consumers shopping for health insurance coverage \u2014 even those who currently have coverage through the Marketplace \u2014 should enroll or re-enroll by logging in to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.healthcare.gov\/\">HealthCare.gov<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cuidadodesalud.gov\/es\/\">CuidadodeSalud.gov<\/a> or call 1-800-318-2596 (TTY is 855-889- 4325) to fill out an application and enroll in a 2024 Marketplace plan.
